Meet Linda Straite

Linda Straiteis a Charlotte, North Carolina–based vocalist whose sound blends Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Country, and Blues into a soulful, commanding musical experience. Rooted in faith and inspired by legends such as Aretha Franklin, Kim Burrell, Anita Baker, and Ledisi, Linda delivers performances marked by power, versatility, and emotional depth.

She has shared the stage with iconic artists, including Gladys Knight, Jennifer Holliday, LeVert, Miki Howard, Johnny Gill, and Eddie LeVert of the O’Jays, and has opened for The Whispers at the Greensboro Coliseum. Linda has also performed background vocals for Vanessa Bell Armstrong, received guidance from Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire and saxophonist Mike Phillips, and earned a Lifetime Entertainment Awardfrom the Charlotte African American Festival.

Currently signed to Murray Town Entertainment, an affiliate of the Grand Ole Opry, Linda continues to tour the East Coast with her band, Linda Straite and Company B, captivating audiences with a sound that honors tradition while embracing today’s soul.
